Patal Bhuvaneshwar, Pithoragarh

Patal Bhuvaneshwar is a limestone cave housing 33 crores god and goddesses near Gangolihat, Jhultar Barkhet.


 The cave is situated inside a hill beneath above rock.
A conduit takes us to the bottom of the two level cave. Conduit is narrow and chains are provided to grab and improve descending.

Gangolihat

Gangolihat which lies between the rivers Saryu and Ramganga is a religious place with mandirs like Hat Kalika and caves like Patal Bhuvaneshwar, Vaishnavi mandir.

Hat Kalika Mandir

Hat Kalika Mandir is situated in Gangolihat, Pithoragarh. This temple was made by the Kumaon Soldiers. Temple of Kalika. Another temple Upat-Kalika is in Ranikhet. Lots of monkeys are here.
Hat Kalika temple is situated amidst deodar forests, the Janhavi Naula (a covered spring). See more
