Golu Devata or Lord Golu (Hindi: गॊलू दॆवता) is the legendary mythological and historical God of the Kumaun region of Uttarakhand state of India and is their the much loved deity.
Gol-jew or Golu devta is the most admired and worshiped God of Kumaon Hills.

Goluje is a carnation of god and is been worshiping in whole kumaon since long time .At the time of his birth he sent in river by his stepmothers packing in a box and was found a fisherman ,he nurse him and after same time he got back his parent .Same history also tell regarding birth of Karna .He was son of an unmarried woman Kunthi .Can there is a relation between two .or they were same and called different name .In history many had happened and there was different story .
