Dunagiri

Situated at a height of 8,000 feet.


Pandavas of Mahabharata took shelter at Dunagiri.

Pandukholi is said to be the place near Dunagiri where they stayed for a period of time. 
Hanuman saved his life by bringing divine herb sanjivani from this mountain.
Dunagiri Mandir has lots of bells on the way. There's a Devi's Temple of Shakti.
One has to climb many steps in order to reach the temple. Its a kilometer climb.

Kapkot

Kapkot is a small village about 26 kms from Bageshwar.

Kapkot is the base point for trekkers who trek towards Pindari, Kafni, Sunderdunga Glaciers.

Kapkot has more flat farms.

River Saryu flows through this village and the river is quite wide. Hence lot of water is available for farming on Kapkot

Bilona Farms, Bageshwar

These are the farms in Bilona Village near Bageshwar. There are lot of flat farms situated near the river side being plain area. There were many farms but now many houses are built upon the farms making farm area smaller and smaller.

Bageshwar

Situated at the confluence of rivers Saryu, Gomti and latent Bhagirathi, lies the holy township of Bageshwar.

With the east and west flanked by the Bhileswar and Nileshwar mountains and surrounded by Suraj Kund in the north and Agni Kund in the south, this land of Lord Shankar is of great religious, historic and political significance.
